IMPORTANT TANK INSTALLATION INFORMATION

- The tank should be positioned so that the fill point is easily accessible.
- The entire base of the tank should be supported, flat and solid.
- The tank support structure should be
able to with stand the load of the tank when fully fitted
for a long period of time. Taking into account that
1 litre of liquid is approximately equal to 1 Kg.
- The base area should be smooth, free from debris and sharp objects.
- The tank when full will expand, so there should be a minimum gap left around the whole tank of 150mm.
- The outlet supplied fitted with the tank is a 1” female bsp fitting and is set at the correct torque setting.
- The tank should be protected against strong wind, especially when empty.
- All pipe work should be supported to reduce stress on the joints.
- The tanks are designed for static use only.
- For use with the following fuels:-
- The tanks are not suitable for drinking water.
- The tank should be clearly labelled to identify the contents for other people’s safety.
